watching pioneer woman on demand (jesus fucking christ, this bitch homeschools her kids and they are making jam, and she’s making it into a ‘LESSON’) while putting a significant dent in this bag of mint chocolate chips
This is pretty much exactly how I was raised. Until about 9th grade “school” was anything the hell we wanted it to be, from nature hikes to writing letters to baking cookies (not even exaggerating).
I’m at NYU now with a good GPA, doing a major and two minors, graduating early, and oh yea I’m already employed.
Say what you want but school is not really all it’s cracked up to be. Especially public school. I would feel privileged to be able to homeschool my kids.
